AgreGtr Analysis
The majority of customers are highly satisfied with this topside engine creeper, praising its sturdiness, ease of assembly, and effectiveness for working on lifted trucks and tall vehicles. It is widely regarded as a back and knee saver that is worth the money. However, a notable minority report serious build quality concerns including poor welds and flimsy metal, and the padding is broadly criticized across both satisfied and dissatisfied reviewers as insufficient.
Pros & Cons
- Works excellently on lifted trucks and tall vehicles like diesel pickups
- Sturdy and stable — never feels wobbly or unsecure under body weight
- Easy to assemble with clear enough instructions for most users
- Significant back and knee saver when working in the engine compartment
- Considered good value for money by the majority of buyers
- Padding is minimal and uncomfortable — described as nearly nonexistent by some
- Poor weld quality reported by multiple reviewers, raising safety concerns
- Hardware issues including weak bolts, loose pins, and missing components in some units
- Instructions described as poorly written with unhelpful illustrations
- Step/ladder rung configuration is not adjustable, limiting ergonomic flexibility
