AgreGtr Analysis
The Oura Ring Gen 3 earns strong praise for its comprehensive health and sleep tracking, comfortable design, and impressive 72-hour battery life. Many customers find it more capable than alternatives like the Apple Watch for round-the-clock monitoring. However, a notable subset of reviewers report reliability issues—including rings failing after a few months—and express frustration with the mandatory paid subscription required to access full data.
Pros & Cons
- Comprehensive sleep tracking that works overnight without needing to charge, unlike smartwatches
- Battery life lasts up to 72 hours and charges fully in about 2 hours
- Provides detailed, actionable daily health insights including activity, stress, recovery, and cycle tracking
- Accurate health data that compares favorably to Garmin and Apple Watch in side-by-side use
- Lightweight and comfortable for all-day and all-night wear
- Some units stop working entirely within 3–9 months of use
- Monthly subscription ($6/month) required to access full historical data and insights
- Mixed accuracy reports, particularly around heart rate measurement
- Design perceived as cheap by some—not metal as expected for the price point
- No way to manually correct inaccurate data entries in the app
