AgreGtr Analysis
Customers are largely impressed with this AI desktop supercomputer's speed and capability for local LLM and AI workloads, with many describing it as fast and easy to set up. However, a notable subset of reviewers report reliability concerns including WiFi driver failures, boot issues, thermal problems, and intermittent OS instability. Overall sentiment is positive but tempered by recurring hardware and software reliability issues.
Pros & Cons
- Handles large AI/LLM models with fast inference responses comparable to or faster than cloud services
- Easy to install and set up for most users
- Excellent for local LLM research and AI work, described as taking AI capabilities to the next level
- Generally perceived as fast and convenient for everyday AI workloads
- Multiple reviewers describe it as reliable and highly recommended
- WiFi drivers not working out of the box, preventing completion of initial boot process
- Intermittent OS issues reported during early use
- Thermal management concerns noted, with at least one reviewer waiting for a fix before repurchasing
- Memory bandwidth limits performance, making it 2–3x slower than Apple M3 Ultra for PyTorch workloads
- Boot failure on first setup caused concern for at least one user, though it was eventually resolved
