AgreGtr Analysis
The Logitech MX Keys S receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from buyers who praise its premium build quality, smooth quiet typing experience, and versatile multi-device Bluetooth connectivity. Most reviewers highlight its comfort for extended typing sessions and the intuitive proximity-activated backlighting as standout features. A small number of users raise concerns about the sealed internal battery, backlight behavior when charging, and the absence of adjustable tilt feet.
Pros & Cons
- Premium, substantial build quality that feels solid and does not slide on the desk
- Smooth, quiet, low-profile keys comfortable for long typing and work sessions
- Seamless multi-device pairing across up to 3 devices via Bluetooth or Logi Bolt dongle
- Proximity sensor automatically activates backlit keys when hands approach
- USB-C charging allows continued use while the keyboard is being charged
- Sealed non-replaceable internal battery raises long-term durability and e-waste concerns
- Backlight proximity sensor and timeout behavior malfunction when keyboard is plugged in for power
- Brief wake-up latency after idle period may cause first keystroke to be dropped
- No adjustable tilt feet to customize keyboard angle
- Requires downloading new Logi Options+ app rather than the legacy Logitech Options software
