AgreGtr Analysis
The Logitech ERGO K860 earns near-universal praise from ergonomic keyboard users, particularly those migrating from discontinued Microsoft Natural and Sculpt keyboards. Reviewers consistently highlight its comfortable wrist rest, quiet low-profile keys, and genuine ergonomic benefit for users with wrist or repetitive strain concerns. A recurring frustration is the shared F-key and media key toggle system, and a small number of reviewers noted occasional wireless communication glitches or layout adjustment challenges.
Pros & Cons
- True split ergonomic layout provides immediate comfort improvement and helps users with carpal tunnel or wrist strain
- Keys are quiet, slightly concave, and pleasant to type on with good responsiveness
- Versatile dual connectivity via USB receiver and multi-device Bluetooth
- Comfortable, wide wrist rest that is easy to clean and durable-feeling
- Adjustable tilt legs offer multiple negative-tilt ergonomic positions
- F-keys and media controls share the same keys requiring a toggle, making blind media control unreliable and error-prone
- No USB recharging — runs on AAA batteries instead of being rechargeable like Logitech's own mice
- Uses older Unifying receiver rather than the newer Bolt receiver, requiring two USB dongles if paired with a modern Logitech mouse
- Occasional wireless lock-up bug causes keys to spam repeated inputs until USB receiver is cycled or PC is restarted
- Layout adjustment can be difficult for touch-typists accustomed to wider keyboard spacing, with the numpad logoff key easy to accidentally trigger
