AgreGtr Analysis
The ASUS GeForce RTX 5060 receives overwhelmingly positive reviews, with customers praising its strong 1080p gaming performance, power efficiency, and build quality at its ~$300 price point. Multiple reviewers highlight excellent compatibility, quiet operation, and significant real-world performance gains over previous-generation cards. The only notable concern raised is the 8GB VRAM limitation and one instance of damaged shipping packaging.
Pros & Cons
- Strong 1080p gaming performance with 60+ fps on high/ultra settings across most modern titles
- Excellent power efficiency at ~150W TDP, running around 100W in typical use
- Compact SFF-ready dual-fan design with solid build quality and premium appearance
- Significant rendering/export speed improvements for Adobe Premiere Pro workloads
- Good compatibility with older systems and alternative operating systems like Linux
- Only 8GB VRAM, a step back from the RTX 3060's 12GB, limiting headroom for VRAM-intensive workloads
- Shipping packaging arrived damaged in at least one case
- Ray tracing performance not ideal given the 8GB VRAM constraint and entry-level positioning
- Not suitable for 1440p in all titles; roughly 20% of demanding games struggle at that resolution
