AgreGtr Analysis
The Apple Magic Keyboard receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers who praise its seamless Bluetooth pairing, comfortable scissor-switch typing experience, and impressive battery life lasting weeks on a single charge. Most reviewers highlight its premium build quality and frictionless integration across Apple devices as standout strengths. The primary criticisms center on the premium price point relative to its feature set and the absence of backlit keys, while one reviewer reported a unit failure after about five months of heavy daily use.
Pros & Cons
- Effortless and reliable Bluetooth pairing with Mac, iPad, and iPhone
- Comfortable, well-spaced scissor-switch keys ideal for extended typing sessions
- Exceptional battery life lasting approximately one month or more per charge
- Premium, lightweight, minimalist build quality that complements Apple setups
- Compact and portable size well-suited for iPad use on the go
- No keyboard backlighting, a notable omission at this price point
- Priced at a premium compared to feature-richer third-party alternatives
- One unit reportedly stopped functioning after roughly five months of heavy daily use
- Packaging arrived with inadequate protection and a failed adhesive pull-tab seal
- Lacks Touch ID on this base model, requiring a more expensive variant for that feature
