AgreGtr Analysis
The Vitamix blender receives strong praise for its powerful blending performance, ease of cleaning, and overall value for money, with many customers calling it the best blender they have owned. However, reliability and durability concerns temper the overall experience, as several customers report units that stopped working after minimal use or broke within 90 days. Noise level opinions are divided, with some finding it acceptably quiet and others describing it as quite loud.
Pros & Cons
- Extremely powerful motor that blends everything finely including ice, frozen fruit, and hot soups
- Easy to clean with a simple soap-and-water self-cleaning cycle
- Considered worth the price and a great value, especially on sale
- Automation settings and ease of use appreciated by customers
- Quieter than comparable blenders according to several reviewers
- Some units reported as non-functioning or failing to turn on out of the box
- Durability issues reported, with units breaking within 90 days or after minimal use
- Noticeable noise level described as loud by multiple customers
- One reviewer noted it failed to blend ice, frozen fruit, and dates effectively
- Remanufactured units can emit a noticeable smell during operation
