AgreGtr Analysis
The Ninja DZ201 DualZone Air Fryer receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers who praise its dual-basket cooking system and Smart Finish synchronization feature as standout innovations. Most buyers highlight the convenience of cooking two foods simultaneously at different temperatures, the crispy cooking results, and the easy cleanup. One notable concern involves basket handles losing their finish after dishwasher use despite the product being marketed as dishwasher-safe, though Ninja's customer service reportedly resolved the issue with free replacements.
Pros & Cons
- Dual-basket DualZone system allows cooking two foods simultaneously at different temperatures
- Smart Finish feature automatically syncs both baskets to finish cooking at the same time
- Food consistently comes out crispy outside and tender inside with minimal oil
- Easy-to-clean non-stick baskets and crisper plates
- 8-quart XL capacity ideal for family meals without multiple cooking rounds
- Basket handles can chip and discolor after dishwasher use despite dishwasher-safe labeling
- Fairly loud operation especially when both baskets are running simultaneously
- Each individual basket is smaller than a comparable single-drawer air fryer
- Instructional manual lacks adequate cooking times and recipe guidance
- Learning curve required to make the most of all cooking modes and features
