AgreGtr Analysis
The Levoit Vital 100S-P air purifier receives overwhelmingly positive feedback, with customers praising its effective filtration of dust, pet dander, and odors across a range of room sizes. Reviewers consistently highlight the quiet operation, reliable auto mode, and user-friendly smart app as standout features. One reviewer flagged a fulfillment issue with used units being sold as new, but this reflects an Amazon marketplace concern rather than a product defect.
Pros & Cons
- Dramatically reduces dust buildup and allergens, with multiple reviewers noting cleaner surfaces within days or weeks
- Very quiet operation, especially on lower settings and sleep mode, suitable for overnight use
- Smart app (VeSync) enables remote control, scheduling, air quality monitoring, and filter tracking
- Highly effective at eliminating pet odors and dander, including strong sources like live animals
- Washable pre-filter and reasonably priced replacement filters reduce long-term maintenance burden
- Replacement filters carry a recurring cost that adds up over time
- Unit is larger than some buyers expect and requires adequate floor or surface space
- One buyer received a clearly used unit sold as new through Amazon, causing frustration
- Toxin absorber specialty filter has a noticeable sterile smell for the first few days after installation
