AgreGtr Analysis
The Instant Pot Dual Action receives strong praise from existing Instant Pot fans for its innovative dual-pot design that cooks a main dish and side simultaneously. Reviewers consistently highlight the dishwasher-safe pots, clean modern aesthetic, and time-saving convenience for weeknight meals. The primary reservations center on the premium price point and fewer cooking settings compared to other Instant Pot models, though most buyers consider it a worthwhile addition for families cooking daily meals.
Pros & Cons
- Dual-pot design cooks main dish and side simultaneously with smart staggered timing
- Both inner pots are dishwasher-safe, making cleanup quick and easy
- Clean white exterior with black display looks attractive on the counter
- Intuitive screen shows cooking progress clearly and is easy to navigate
- Right-sized 4QT main pot is ideal for family dinners without oversized bulk
- Noticeably higher price point relative to buying a separate pressure cooker and rice cooker
- Fewer cooking settings than other Instant Pot models — notably missing a yogurt/incubation mode
- Large footprint requires dedicated counter space and is not easy to store in cabinets
- Too big and heavy to transport conveniently, limiting portability
- No glass lid option for slow cooking on the main pot
