AgreGtr Analysis
Customers have a decidedly mixed experience with this self-cleaning litter box. While many appreciate the ease of setup, tray replacement, and reduced scooping, a significant number report problems with the rake getting stuck, poop not being fully swept into the waste bin, and inadequate odor control. Durability and value for money are recurring concerns, with several buyers noting mechanical failures within months and ongoing costs of replacement trays adding up quickly.
Pros & Cons
- Easy to set up and simple tray replacement system reduces daily scooping
- Works well for odor control and cleanliness when functioning properly
- Cats adapt to it easily and appreciate a consistently cleaner box
- More sanitary than traditional litter boxes according to satisfied users
- Quiet enough that guests are unaware a cat lives in the home
- Rake frequently gets stuck or fails to move, leaving waste behind or caking on the rake
- Durability issues reported, including mechanical failure within months and broken components after light use
- Odor control described as ineffective by multiple reviewers despite advertised claims
- High ongoing cost of replacement trays, especially for households with multiple cats
- Waste collection door falls off and interrupts rake cycle, requiring frequent manual resets
