AgreGtr Analysis
The Clarks Calenne Gracie sandals receive generally positive feedback for their cushioned footbed, stylish versatile design, and all-day comfort, including from buyers with plantar fasciitis. However, a recurring concern is that the sandals run small or narrow, and at least one reviewer experienced significant blistering from the footbed surface. Most buyers are satisfied with the comfort and quality consistent with the Clarks brand.
Pros & Cons
- Highly cushioned footbed provides all-day comfort, even for those with plantar fasciitis
- Versatile design pairs well with casual and dressier outfits
- Adjustable Velcro/hook-and-loop ankle strap allows for a customizable, secure fit
- True navy color is vibrant and visually distinct from other navy sandals
- Well-made materials feel consistent with Clarks' reputation for quality
- Runs small and slightly narrow compared to other Clarks styles — sizing up may be needed
- Footbed surface caused severe blistering for at least one reviewer on extended wear
- Sides of sandal may feel sharp and rub against wider feet
- Not recommended for wide or puffy feet due to limited strap accommodation
- Heavier than typical Clarks sandals, noted as an unexpected characteristic
